Who we are
MissMe Vacations ("we," "us," "our") is an independent travel agency based in McComb, Mississippi 39648-4549. We plan and book vacations — Disney, Universal, cruises, and all-inclusive resorts — on behalf of our clients. This policy explains what personal information we collect through missmevacations.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a quote request, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, and details about the trip you're planning — destination, travel dates, party size, budget range, and any notes you share. You give this to us voluntarily. If you'd rather not use the form, you can email or call an advisor directly.
If you go on to book, we'll need more: the legal names and dates of birth of everyone traveling, passport information where a trip requires it, loyalty program numbers, and any accessibility or dietary needs you want us to pass along. We collect this only when a booking makes it necessary.
Information collected automatically
Our site is a static website hosted by Netlify. Netlify's servers log standard technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, and we set no cookies for tracking or advertising.
We do not collect payment information on this website. When you book, payment is made directly to the travel supplier using their own secure systems. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
- To respond to your quote request and match you with the right advisor
- To research, quote, book, and manage your trip
- To share what a supplier needs in order to hold your reservation
- To contact you about your booking — confirmations, changes, documents, reminders
- To send occasional travel deals or updates, which you can opt out of at any time
- To keep records required by law
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
To book a trip, we pass your details to the companies actually providing it — cruise lines, resorts, theme parks, tour operators, insurers, and airlines — sharing only what each one needs. Once your information is with a supplier, their privacy policy governs it, not ours.
We also share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate — for example Netlify, which hosts this site, and our email provider
- Authorities, if we are legally required to disclose
Children
Our services are marketed to adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 directly through this site. Parents and guardians routinely give us the names and dates of birth of minor travelers to book a family trip — we use that only to make the booking, and ask that only a parent or guardian provide it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests that don't become bookings for one year, in case you return to us. Booking records we keep for seven years, as tax and consumer-protection rules require. After that, we delete or anonymize.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it — email missme@missmevacations.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you have an active booking, some information must be retained to keep that booking valid.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example, California residents have rights under the CCPA to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither). We honor these requests regardless of where you live. You can unsubscribe from marketing email anytime using the link in the message; we'll still contact you about a trip you've booked.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and limit access to the advisor working on your trip.
Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to active clients directly.
