The Wish opened Disney's newest class with a theme of pure enchantment: a Grand Hall like a castle courtyard — chandelier dripping light, Cinderella in bronze at its heart — and a bright, airy palette that makes the whole ship feel like morning. Fairy tales are the design language everywhere, from staircase filigree to the names on the doors.
She's the ship for the years when the magic is at full strength — the sailing where a four-year-old meets Cinderella in a castle that floats.
The newest rooms afloat
Staterooms are the fleet's freshest take: soft fairytale palettes, smart lighting, and the family-first layout Disney refined over twenty-five years — split baths, clever bunks, verandahs with proper furniture. Inside rooms keep the virtual portholes; concierge guests get the tower suite everyone asks about (yes, it's in the funnel).

The waterslide with a storyline
The AquaMouse is the headliner — Disney's “first attraction at sea,” a water coaster where Mickey cartoons play through the tube on the way to the splashdown. Terraced pools cascade down the aft decks, and the dining rotation goes full franchise: Arendelle's Frozen dinner theater, Worlds of Marvel's interactive show, and elegant 1923 named for the year it all started.
Adults get Palo Steakhouse, the exquisite Enchanté, and the Star Wars-themed Hyperspace Lounge that books out by the first afternoon.
Whole worlds below deck
The Oceaneer Club here is a marvel on its own — a slide entrance from the Grand Hall, a Marvel Super Hero Academy, a full Fairytale Hall — while the Hero Zone runs family game-show energy and The Rose and Quiet Cove keep the adult end serene. Broadway-scale shows anchor the evenings.
It's the densest ship in the fleet for under-tens, by design. The clubs alone justify the sailing for that age band.
The long weekend, perfected
The Wish keeps it simple: three- and four-night Bahamas loops from Port Canaveral — Nassau plus Disney's private islands, with many routes now calling at both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Two beach days, two ship days, zero logistics.
It's the ideal first cruise, the perfect add-on to a Disney World week, and the trip we book most for families testing whether cruising is their thing. (It usually is.)
