Adventures by Disney

Disney’s guided way to see the world — small groups, two Adventure Guides who handle every last detail, and VIP access from the Rhine to Kyoto. You’re on vacation; they’re on the clock.

Best forFirst big international trips, multigen groups, and travelers who want zero logistics
01 · The Idea

Disney plans it, you just go

Adventures by Disney is the part of Disney that isn’t a park or a ship. It’s guided group travel to real places all over the world — Italy, Iceland, Japan, Peru, an African safari — run with the same obsession over detail Disney brings to a theme-park day, only pointed at the wider world. You show up; everything else is already handled.

Every trip is fully hosted. The buses, the tickets, the reservations, the “where do we eat” and “how do we skip that line” — all of it is decided before you land. It’s the trip for a family that wants to see somewhere ambitious without spending six months planning it.

02 · How It Works

Two Adventure Guides and a group that clicks

Two Adventure Guides travel with every departure. They carry the day — wrangling logistics, telling the stories, splitting the group so the teenagers and the grandparents each get their trip, and quietly fixing the things that go sideways on any journey. You get to just be a family on vacation.

Groups stay small, usually around forty at most, and nearly everything is built into one price: the guides, most meals, the activities, VIP access that skips the queue at the headline sights, and gratuities for the guides. What you’re really buying is a trip with no logistics attached.

03 · Where It Goes

Roughly fifty trips across the map

The catalog spans six continents and keeps growing — the great cities of Europe (Italy, England & France, the Rhine, Iceland), Asia (Japan, China, Thailand), Africa on safari, Australia, and plenty closer to home, from Alaska and the national parks to Costa Rica. Some are two-country grand tours; some are a single deep dive.

There are shorter “long weekend” escapes too, when you want the guided treatment without a two-week commitment. We’ll match the destination and the trip length to your family and the time you actually have.

04 · On the Water

River cruises and expedition sailings

Beyond the land trips, Adventures by Disney sails. The river cruises — the Danube, the Rhine, the Seine, the Rhône — run aboard AmaWaterways ships with Adventure Guides on board and Disney’s programming layered on top, so the kids are happy while the adults watch the castles roll by.

Expedition cruises push further: Alaska, the Galápagos, and other big-nature corners where the point is the wildlife and the landings. Same hosted, mostly-inclusive model — just with a stateroom instead of a hotel.

05 · For Every Age

Junior Adventurers to grandparents

The design trick is that everyone gets their own version of the day. Younger kids have Junior Adventurers programming and games; teens get their own activities and a little independence; adults get the wine tasting and the after-dark walk. Then everyone comes back together for dinner.

It’s why Adventures by Disney is the multigenerational trip so many families reach for — the eight-year-old and the seventy-year-old both come home calling it the best one. There are adult-focused departures too, for when the kids stay home.

06 · The Game Plan

Book early — we watch the calendar

These trips are capped small, and the marquee departures — summer in Europe, the Christmas markets, peak safari season — sell out close to a year out. The move is to decide the destination and the rough window early, then be ready the day new dates release.

That’s our part. Tell us where you’ve been dreaming about and who’s coming, and we’ll pin the right itinerary, hold the departure the morning it opens, and wrap the flights, the extra hotel nights, and the insurance around it so the whole thing arrives as one clean plan.

MissMe Tip

The single most important date is the day new departures release — that’s when the best summer and holiday trips are actually available to book. Tell us your dream destination now, and we’ll be watching for it.
