Sun-palace at the park's edge
Helios Grand rises from Epic Universe's back edge like the park's crown — a sun-themed palace of warm golds, deco arcs, and celestial motifs, opened with the park in 2025. From the upper floors and the rooftop bar, all of Celestial Park spreads below you, fountains to spires, and at night the view is flatly unfair.
This is Universal's statement hotel: the one where the park isn't nearby — it's underfoot.
Views that need no theming
Rooms carry the celestial-grand palette with the real amenity glowing out the window: park-view rooms overlook Epic's lands and nightly light shows, while resort-view rooms trade spectacle for serenity at a friendlier rate. Suites and club level stack on for the full-splurge version.
This is the property where we push the view category hardest — it's the point of the address.
Rooftop hour is mandatory
The pool deck suns itself beside the park with cabanas and a bar, but the flagship social hour lives upstairs: the rooftop lounge over Celestial Park, where the nightly park finale plays out below your cocktail. Signature dining, a café for park mornings, and lounges round out the floors.
Even non-guests scheme for that rooftop at sunset; staying here makes it your house bar.
The private gate
The headline perk is singular: a dedicated hotel entrance directly into Epic Universe — guests walk from the lobby into the park while everyone else routes through the main gates. Stack early park admission on top and Helios guests start Epic days ahead of the entire state of Florida. The honest fine print: Unlimited Express is not part of the package — Epic's Express is a separate limited product, and the classic parks are a shuttle ride away.
For Epic-centered trips, no perk at any hotel beats that doorway. We'll tell you plainly when your itinerary justifies it.
Downstairs, then everywhere
Epic Universe: downstairs, through your own gate. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and CityWalk: shuttle service from the lobby, 10 to 15 minutes across the resort.
The itinerary writes itself — Epic days bookending the stay, classic parks in the middle, rooftop every night.
Book Helios for the Epic-heavy half of your trip, then let us split the stay to an Express hotel for the classic-parks half — the two-hotel Universal trip is the power move nobody tells you about.
