Shades of Green sits between golf fairways in the Magic Kingdom resort area, operated for the U.S. armed forces community. It's calm, spacious, and unpretentious — less theming, more breathing room — with a guest list of service families who've earned the address.

Eligibility spans active duty, retirees, National Guard and Reserve, and other authorized patrons — if you're unsure whether you qualify, ask us and we'll check before you fall in love.

Some of the biggest standards anywhere near the parks

Rooms run famously large — among the biggest standard rooms in the Disney World area — most with balconies or patios over the pools or fairways, and family suites for bigger crews. Tiered pricing by rank keeps it honest.

Quiet pools and PX perks

Two main pools (the Mill Pond and Magnolia) plus a splash zone cover the swim needs, with mini golf, tennis, and an on-site Exchange shop where eligible guests buy park tickets and souvenirs tax-free — a quiet perk that adds up fast.

Walk to the Poly, bus to the parks

Shades runs its own bus loop to the parks, and the Polynesian — with its monorail station — is a short walk via the pedestrian path. Many guests stroll over for Dole Whips and the monorail; we would too.
