Disney's Pop Century Resort

Giant yo-yos, a four-story Rubik's Cube, and the best transportation deal in the value tier — Pop is where budget trips punch above their weight.

01 · The Vibe

A love letter to the decades

Pop celebrates the second half of the twentieth century at billboard scale — buildings wrapped in giant 8-track tapes, bowling pins, and flip phones, each courtyard themed to a decade. It's loud in the happiest way, and somehow it works: the whole resort feels like a yearbook you get to sleep inside.

It's also the value resort we recommend most, for one simple reason: transportation. Pop shares a Skyliner station with Art of Animation, which turns EPCOT and Hollywood Studios evenings into a scenic ten-minute glide instead of a bus wait.

02 · The Rooms

Small, smart, and freshly practical

Standard rooms sleep four with a clever trick: one queen bed plus a fold-down queen that becomes a table by day, buying real floor space for strollers and suitcases. They're compact — this is the tier's trade — but hard-working, with solid storage and coffee in the food court downstairs.

03 · Pools & Food

Cannonballs and a classic food court

Three themed pools anchor the courtyards, led by the flower-shaped Hippy Dippy Pool in the sixties section, with a kiddie splash zone alongside. Everything Pop, the food court, covers the greatest hits — including the tie-dye cheesecake that has its own fan club — and the lakefront path to Hourglass Lake is a surprisingly lovely sunset walk.

04 · Getting Around

The value tier's best commute

The Skyliner station (shared with Art of Animation, across the lake bridge) runs straight to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are a direct bus ride. That two-park gondola access is the quiet reason Pop books out fast.

MissMe Tip

Ask us about preferred-location rooms near the lobby and Skyliner — on a park-heavy trip, the five minutes saved each way adds up to a whole extra evening.
